The National Ecumenical Centre symbolizes a central place of worship for all Christians in Nigeria. This Headquarters of the Christian Association of Nigeria is also located here at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja

Inter-denominational Services

Special services, thanksgiving, worship and prayers are held regularly to mark national events at different times of the year. A unifying point for all Christians from all denominations in Nigeria to call on God and pray for the peace of the Nation

Objectives of CAN

Gospel

To promote understanding, peace and unity among the various people and strata of society in Nigeria through the propagation of the Gospel.

Church

To act as liaison committee by mean of which it's member- Churches can consult together and when necessary make common statement and take common action.

Unity

To serve as a basis of response to the unity of the Church especially as contained in our Lord's pastoral prayer that they all may be one - John 17:21

Nation

To act as watch person of the Spiritual and moral welfare of the nation.
