When Jesus stood on the Mount of Olives and commanded His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, He wasn\u2019t just speaking to a small group of Galileans. He was speaking to us\u2014the vibrant, diverse, and resilient Body of Christ in Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u200bToday and always, the <strong>Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)<\/strong> reaffirms our commitment to this divine mandate. As we navigate a rapidly changing world, the call to take the Gospel to the &#8220;ends of the earth&#8221; remains our highest priority and our greatest honor.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bOur mission is rooted in the authority of Christ. We do not go out of personal ambition, but out of a deep-seated love for God and a compassion for humanity.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1311\" height=\"766\" src=\"https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1000791314.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4224\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>\u200b<strong>To Fulfill the Scripture:<\/strong> Matthew 24:14 tells us, <em>&#8220;And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>To Share the Hope of Salvation:<\/strong> In a world fractured by conflict, economic hardship, and spiritual emptiness, the message of Jesus Christ is the only anchor that holds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>To Reflect God\u2019s Heart:<\/strong> God desires that none should perish. Every tribe, tongue, and nation deserves the opportunity to hear the Good News.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bEvangelism is a concentric circle that starts in our homes and radiates outward. For the Nigerian Church, this means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>\u200b<strong>Our &#8220;Jerusalem&#8221;:<\/strong> Reaching our immediate neighbors, coworkers, and family members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Our &#8220;Judea and Samaria&#8221;:<\/strong> Extending our reach across state lines and ethnic boundaries within Nigeria, fostering peace and unity through the Gospel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>The &#8220;Ends of the Earth&#8221;:<\/strong> Supporting foreign missions and utilizing digital platforms to reach those in restricted-access nations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"598\" src=\"https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_20260413_232831-1024x598.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_20260413_232831-1024x598.png 1024w, https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_20260413_232831-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_20260413_232831-768x449.png 768w, https:\/\/christianassociationofnigeria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_20260413_232831.png 1311w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe task is great, but the One who calls us is greater. We are not all called to cross oceans, but we are all called to be witnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u200b&#8221;How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?&#8221; \u2014 <strong>Romans 10:14<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>How can you participate today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>\u200b<strong>Give:<\/strong> Support mission agencies and relief efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Go:<\/strong> Volunteer for local outreaches or short-term mission trips.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Pray:<\/strong> Lift up the persecuted church and those laboring in the field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bLet us rise as one body, fueled by the Holy Spirit, to ensure that the light of Christ shines in every dark corner of our world.
